Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Booking & pricing

How do I book, and when is my date confirmed?

Send a booking inquiry through the contact form, or choose a listed session on Vegas Experiences. Your date is tentatively held once you inquire, and confirmed once we agree on a date and time and, where a deposit is required, it’s received. We’ll share any deposit details with you directly before your session is confirmed.

Can I book directly instead of through Airbnb?

Yes — the same sessions listed on Airbnb Experiences can be booked directly through this site’s contact form on the Vegas Experiences page. Prices match Airbnb exactly. Booking here means you deal directly with Joshua from first message to final gallery.

How much does a session cost?

Pricing depends on the type of shoot, coverage time, and final deliverables. Visit Vegas Experiences for listed photography sessions, or contact us for a quote on events, commercial photography, video, and drone projects.

What’s included in my session?

Each listed session on Vegas Experiences shows its length and what you receive. Raw, unedited files aren’t included. For events, commercial photography, video, and drone projects, contact us and we’ll go over what’s included for your project.

Is parking included?

No, parking isn’t included in the session price. Parking near Fremont Street usually runs about $6, and parking on the Strip is $20 or more. I’ll tell you the best place to park when we confirm your time.

What areas does Through The Lens Media serve?

Las Vegas, Henderson, and Summerlin, with location sessions at Red Rock Canyon, Fremont Street, and the Nevada desert.

Do you offer drone photography and video, and are you FAA certified?

Yes — drone photography and aerial video for real estate, aerial events, and construction & development projects in Las Vegas. Every drone flight is operated under an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and covered by a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Deposits are non-refundable once a session is confirmed, though we may apply one toward a future session. Reschedule requests made 72 hours or more before your session are accommodated subject to availability, and a paid deposit can typically be applied to the new date. Shorter notice is handled case by case. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.

Preparing for your session

What is the Session Planner, and when should I complete it?

The Session Planner is a short form where you share what you want to capture, what matters most, and any ideas you already have. Complete it once you’ve booked or you’re ready to plan your shoot — it’s okay if some details are still undecided. We review your answers and follow up with questions or a session plan for you to review. Submitting it doesn’t reserve a date or confirm payment.

Can you help me choose a location and what to wear?

Yes. In the Session Planner, choose “I’d like recommendations” for location and describe any outfits you’re considering. We’ll follow up with suggestions.

I’m uncomfortable in front of a camera. Can you help?

Yes. Sessions use guided movement and conversation instead of stiff poses, and the Session Planner asks what would help you feel comfortable in front of the camera so we can plan around it.

What happens if weather affects our shoot?

Outdoor, drone, and location-dependent sessions may need to be rescheduled for unsafe weather, wind, or lighting. If that happens, we’ll work with you to find the next available date at no extra charge.

Photos, video & usage

When will I receive my photos or video?

For our priced mini sessions, your photos go up in a private gallery, you pick your favorites, and your edits come back within 48 hours of your picks. For portraits, engagements, and custom projects, turnaround depends on the session, so we’ll agree on a timeline together when you book.

Can I use the images for my business or advertising?

Once your session is paid in full, you receive a personal-use license: printing, social media sharing, and personal display, with a credit to Through The Lens Media where practical. Business, advertising, resale, or other commercial use requires a separate written license and may involve an additional fee, so contact us before using session media commercially. See Terms & Conditions for details.
